The DeLong Co., Inc. Announces Acquisition of Ottawa Plant Food Assets and Launch of DeLong Direct Ag

December 3, 2025, OTTAWA, IL – The DeLong Co., Inc. is pleased to announce it has acquired the assets of Ottawa Plant Food (OPF) in Ottawa, Illinois, effective immediately. This acquisition expands DeLong’s footprint in the Midwest and strengthens the company’s ability to provide efficient, economical crop input solutions to producers nationwide.

With this transition, the OPF facility and operations will become part of DeLong’s new division: DeLong Direct Ag, a direct-to-farm ag chemical supplier. DeLong Direct Ag is designed to deliver inputs in a simple, streamlined, and cost-effective way, offering producers:
