The DeLong Co., Inc. Announces Lease of Port of Oswego Grain Export Center

Oswego, NY – The DeLong Co., Inc., is pleased to announce they have entered into an agreement with the Port of Oswego to lease the 750,000-bushel grain facility at the Port of Oswego’s Grain Export Center located on Lake Ontario.

The New York State Department of Transportation invested $15M in the construction of the facility in 2019. The facility offers ship loading and has rail access to load vessels for international markets. The site also features a USDA laboratory to meet grain export regulations.

This partnership comes after the recent announcement that The DeLong Co. had acquired another facility in Sangerfield, NY. These expansions and investments are driven by a commitment to improving market opportunities for customers in the region.

In New York, The DeLong Co. owns grain elevators in Geneva, Manchester, Clifton Springs, and Sangerfield. In addition, they lease storage space in York, Phelps, and now, Oswego. The DeLong Co.
